At Darbishire Sports, we take great pride in offering access to many of the most prestigious and professionally managed shoots across Spain. These estates represent the very best the country has to offer—each one chosen for its unique character, whether that lies in centuries of sporting tradition, breath-taking natural beauty, or world-class hospitality. From rolling hills to dramatic mountain ranges, from historic lodges to gourmet dining, every estate in our portfolio offers something truly special.
Below, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of shoots that reflect the richness and variety of Spain’s sporting landscape.
Ventosilla
Ventosilla is perhaps the most iconic Spanish shoot. Built in the 15th century by the cardinals of Toledo, the estate remains in the family to this day. It spans thousands of acres and features 60 drives, offering incredible variety for all types of guns.

La Nava
Deep in the La Mancha countryside, La Nava combines luxurious accommodation with some of the best partridge shooting in Spain. The purpose-built lodge overlooks 4,900 hectares of varied ground, and the service is second to none.

La Flamenca
Ideal for those wanting to stay in Madrid, La Flamenca offers two full days of excellent shooting just 45 minutes from the city—or 10 minutes from the estate’s Regajal Lodge. The shooting is traditional and well-organised, and the setup is perfect for groups with non-shooters.

Las Barracas
Located between Calvià and Andratx in Mallorca, Las Barracas offers both driven and walked-up partridge shooting from September through spring. Professional staff, breath-taking views, and first-class hospitality make this a standout option.
Los Melonares
This 5,000-acre estate near Seville is owned by the renowned Madariaga family. It features high, challenging birds and a strong resemblance to traditional British shooting, with added Spanish warmth and flair. The El Muro drive is a highlight.

Ventas Quemadas
Just 45 minutes from Seville, Ventas Quemadas is a 4,500-hectare estate undergoing extensive upgrades. With excellent topography and a luxurious main house featuring nine en-suite rooms, it promises first-class sport and comfort.
