Located just over an hour from London, the picturesque village and estate of Great Tew is one of England’s most beautiful sporting destinations. This quintessential English estate is home to a renowned game shoot, which in spring and summer gives rise to an exceptional simulated shooting experience. Guests enjoy an unrivalled variety of drives, from fast coveys of partridge to towering pheasants worthy of the West Country, before taking on the thrilling whirly grouse over Raven Hill Moor. Remarkably, Great Tew is the only estate in the UK to boast eight stone grouse butts.

Hospitality is as impressive as the shooting itself, beginning with a traditional shooting breakfast on arrival, followed by seasonal field nibbles and concluding with a superb two-course lunch served in the Lodge or alfresco, weather permitting.

Set amid moorland, rolling pasture, oak woodland, bluebells, and chocolate-box cottages, Great Tew has hosted simulated days for over 14 years.

Great Tew is the setting of many TV series including Mobland. The estate also has accommodation on site at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse.
