George Cleverley on Shooting Boots & Gun Cases

British terrain has a character all its own - rugged, unpredictable, and impossibly beautiful. When we designed our gun slips and shooting boots, we weren’t just thinking about style, but the reality of the landscape: wet grass underfoot, uneven paths, sudden shifts in weather.

The William Shotgun Slip was built to meet that challenge, marrying the elegance of traditional craftsmanship with the resilience needed in the field. Every detail, down to the plush sheepskin lining and locking bridal strap, was designed with protection and longevity in mind.

Our Taron boots and the updated Taron II were developed specifically with that dual purpose in mind: a boot that can handle the countryside without looking out of place in Mayfair. We’ve spent the past two years working with British tanneries to develop a grain leather that holds up beautifully while aging with real character. We also re-engineered the soles using a custom V-Lite compound—lightweight, hard-wearing, and able to handle wet grass, gravel, and pub floors equally well.

It’s all about creating kit that looks the part, but performs even better.
