Snilesworth Estate, spanning 6,500 acres in North Yorkshire, is renowned for its exceptional driven grouse, partridge, and pheasant shooting. The estate offers diverse terrain, including deep valleys and moorland edges, ensuring thrilling sport. With a well-maintained road network, it provides easy access to shooting butts, accommodating all guests.

The shooting season begins with grouse in August, partridge on September 1st, followed by pheasant in mid-October. Notably, the Arnsgill Partridge drive delivers challenging, high-flying birds. With a consistent grouse population and over 34 unique drives, Snilesworth attracts shooting enthusiasts from the UK and beyond, known for its top-tier sport and hospitality.

A typical shoot day at Snilesworth Estate begins with breakfast and a briefing before heading to the moors for either grouse, partridge or pheasant. Lunch is served in the field or a lodge, followed by afternoon drives. The day ends with refreshments and warm hospitality.

The North York Moors played a significant part in the Industrial Revolution, from the coming of the railways to the large-scale exploitation of ironstone.
