The Maristow Shoot offers an exceptional shooting experience in one of Devon's most picturesque and prestigious estates.

Renowned for its stunning landscapes and challenging drives, Maristow is a premier destination for game shooting enthusiasts. The estate features a variety of terrains, providing dynamic shooting opportunities with high-quality birds that test even the most experienced shots. With its well-managed grounds and meticulous attention to detail, Maristow consistently delivers memorable days in the field.

Beyond the sport, the shoot is complemented by warm hospitality, making it a favourite among seasoned sportsmen. A gem of Devon, Maristow ensures an unforgettable experience steeped in tradition and natural beauty.

The estate dates back to medieval times and was once owned by Buckfast Abbey.

By car: Take M4, then M5 to Exeter, A38 to Plymouth, and A386 to Maristow (4-5 hours).
By train: London Paddington to Plymouth, then taxi.

Pheasant & partridge

October to middle of January

A renowned shooting experience offering some of Britain’s finest pheasant shooting. The team departs from the lodge into the Tamar Valley, tackling unique and challenging birds from various locations—including pontoons on the river. Traditionally, lunch is enjoyed at the end of the shoot.

Locally the area is blessed with some wonderful hotels and pubs being so close to the sea. There is also private accommodation on site at the Maristow Shoot Lodge.
