Los Ombúes is one of the few lodges in Argentina that owns the land where they shoot , they own more than 40 shooting areas, all located less than 15 minutes from the lodge. Of the many Argentina dove hunting outfitters, Los Ombues Lodge has consistently proven to be in a league of its own.
After establishing as the first 5-star outfitter in Argentina, it soon after became the first ORVIS full hunting destination in Argentina. In other words, the best dove hunting lodge in Argentina. This endorsement later received an outstanding recognition in 2012 when Los Ombues was awarded the “best international lodge of the year” by ORVIS.
With year-round nearby fields packed with doves, no competition nearby, and no game pressure on the birds, there is absolutely no risk to say that when it comes to dove hunting, Los Ombues is paradise.
Los Ombues is the only place in Argentina that offers both the best dove hunting in the country and great Dorado and Piranha fishing in the marshes that are close to the lodge.
There are two ways to get to the lodge, by air or ground transportation. If the group arrives in Buenos Aires, then the options are either ground transportation (4 ½ hours drive) or Charter plane (one hour flight) landing at the private landing strip located at only 5 minutes away from the lodge.
Typically teams would arrive for lunch on the first day, they would enjoy an evening flight before dinner. Then two full days of shooting, we always stop for lunch and enjoy plenty of breaks throughout the day. On the fourth day we would shoot in the morning, then followed by departure after lunch. Smaller and longer trips are available on request.
The house was designed to cover every expectation of high-demanding bird shooters offering refined and cosy accommodation and first-class amenities. The lounge and dining room offer breath-taking panoramic views of the delta marsh down below. It takes no more than 20 minutes to get from the lodge to any of the available duck blinds. Terrific dove shooting may be enjoyed within walking distance from the house as well as perdiz upland game over pointer dogs around the grasslands surrounding the property. The lodge include nine spacious double rooms with private bathrooms.
