Yorkshire Dales
Hardcastle & Heathfield are a superb pair of traditional Yorkshire grouse moors, set amongst beautiful open heather moorland in the Nidderdale area. The ground is varied and challenging, with a great mixture of high, fast drives and more testing birds that make full use of the natural contours of the moor.
The moors have an excellent reputation for producing strong, sporting grouse, with some particularly memorable drives. It is a beautiful and relatively wild part of Yorkshire, offering a proper traditional grouse shooting experience and a very enjoyable day on the hill.
The estate also have a low ground partride shoot called providence, double days can easily be arranged.
Hardcastle & Heathfield Moors are located near Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. Full directions and the meeting point will be provided prior to the day.
Guns meet for Breakfast at 9am, the day consists of 5 drives, stopping for lunch midday.
