Ciudad Real

El Crespo Shooting Estate is a prestigious private hunting estate located in Ciudad Real, roughly two hours south of Madrid. Renowned for its traditional driven partridge shooting, it is considered one of Spain’s most exclusive sporting destinations. The estate spans over 8,000 hectares of varied terrain, including plains, valleys, and steep ravines, which create ideal conditions for fast, high, and challenging birds.

At the heart of the estate lies a central lodge, built in the 1980s, offering elegant accommodation and hospitality rooted in Spanish tradition. Guests typically participate in organised shooting days, with experienced staff ensuring a smooth and refined experience. The estate has long been privately managed, attracting a select group of international visitors who value discretion and high-quality sport.

The area has a strong agricultural economy, especially wine and olive oil production.

Fly from London to Madrid via direct flight; depart Heathrow or Gatwick. You will be collected from there and transferred to the estate.

A typical day at El Crespo begins with breakfast before heading into the field for a driven partridge shoot. Guns take their pegs as birds are flushed over challenging terrain. After several drives, guests enjoy a traditional Spanish lunch, then return for afternoon shooting, finishing with drinks and shared stories.
