Madrid
Located just 36 kilometres from Madrid (35 minutes), this exceptional estate is considered one of Spain’s finest and most exclusive hunting destinations.
We offer traditional driven partridge shoots for parties of 4 to 10 guns, where shooters experience the challenge of fast-flying birds crossing each peg at different heights, angles, and speeds. Experienced loaders assist throughout the day, while guests enjoy outstanding hospitality, tapas, meals, and fine wines in a beautiful natural setting. All hunting and shooting equipment can be provided for added convenience. The season runs from early October to mid-March.
For smaller groups, we also organise walked-up hunting accompanied by expert guides and dogs. Although it involves several hours of walking, the estate’s varied terrain allows routes suited to different fitness levels. Catering services are available on request.
The late 18th-century estate house has been refurbished to combine historic charm with modern comfort, offering elegant living spaces overlooking the countryside and gardens. Renowned hospitality and exceptional Spanish cuisine prepared with premium local ingredients are central to every stay.
Amanda Hornedo and Pepe Otaola have managed the family business for more than 40 years, welcoming hunters from around the world with expertise, tradition, and passion.
Because of its timeless architecture and scenery, directors like Orson Welles and legendary actors such as John Wayne and Rita Hayworth have filmed locally.
Flying into Madrid the day before the shoot, we will personally greet you the night before and then transfer you to the shoot each day which is less than 30 mins by car.
We will typically shoot between 4-5 drives in a day across the estate, stopping regularly for breaks including the famous Taco and of course lunch. You will shoot drives of varying heights depending on your preferences.
