A great emphasis is placed on providing an exceptional day's shooting, with every member of the team contributing to the success of the estate. From The Duke of Beaufort and Head Keeper Ben Darley through to the wider shoot team, everyone works together with great professionalism and a shared passion for maintaining the highest standards.

The shoot covers two principal areas: Kilcot, situated to the north of the House and Park, and Harcombe, located to the south of the motorway. Kilcot’s deep wooded valleys provide challenging drives with birds of outstanding quality, while Harcombe offers a more open landscape with excellent pheasant shooting and impressive partridge opportunities.

Guests gather in the Shoot Drawing Room before enjoying lunch in the Dining Room, both located within the West Wing of Badminton House. Hospitality throughout the day is exceptional, with elevenses featuring homemade soup and a selection of delicious homemade treats, followed by a superb lunch and afternoon tea.

The estate’s traditional, non-commercial approach, combined with the quality of the shooting and the extremely limited availability, makes Badminton a truly unique sporting experience.

On occasions, The Duke and Duchess personally host teams who stay within Badminton House itself. The hospitality, service, and attention to detail are of the highest standard, offering guests the rare opportunity to experience one of England’s great private houses, which remains closed to the public.
