Worcestershire

Abbots Salford has a long history of showing some of the best driven duck shooting in the Cotswolds. The lakes are apart of the larger Harvington Estate, but are run as a separate beat for the duck shooting.

The ducks are flighted typically between two large lakes producing some exceptional high and challenging ducks with a variety of different shots. These days can complement larger pheasant & partridge packages, either at the start or end of a trip or on break days, including Sundays.

The bag sizes typically begin at around 150 birds and increase according to the size of the team and the number of drives completed. During November and December, it's important to consider the limited daylight hours, with sundown occurring around 3:30 - 4:00pm on most evenings.

Duck (Mallard, Teal, Wigeon)

September until end of December

Typically we would have a delayed start and meet at the first drive around 10/130, but we can start earlier or later depending on your preferences. We like to shoot two large drives and stop for refreshments in between. If the team wish to have lunch then we would break at the end of shooting. The shooting can also take place after lunch, depending on daylight hours.

Locally there are some exceptional pubs and hotels, especially heading into the Cotswolds
