The Bell
A stunning Georgian coaching inn at the heart of a thriving community in the picturesque east Wiltshire village of Ramsbury. It is within the bucolic surroundings of the Kennet valley and the 19,000 acre Ramsbury Estate.
Beautifully restored to highlight its many original architectural features and rustic charm, this cosy, country pub with restaurant, rooms and café, focuses on Farm to Fork dining within calm, contemporary spaces – perfect for a luxurious rural getaway, a celebration with family and friends, a pub supper or just to drop in for drinks after a dog walk exploring the village or along the banks of the river Kennet.
The Ramsbury Estate’s farms, brewery, gin distillery, and oil press supply The Bell’s restaurant, bar, and café with fresh produce. Whenever possible, this is supplemented by local artisan ingredients sourced from within a 25-mile radius.
The Bell’s ten stylish and individually furnished guest rooms decorated in chic, contemporary country style, with six above the pub and four in a beautifully converted coach house opposite. Accommodation includes four super kingsize beds, two deluxe doubles, two standard doubles and two twin bedrooms. Each of its very comfortable rooms has luxurious touches including Hypnos mattresses, hypoallergenic duvets and crisp white linens. All rooms are en-suite with seven featuring walk-in rain showers and three with showers over the bath

The Bell sources virtually everything—from vegetables and herbs to beef, lamb, game, beer, gin, vodka, and rapeseed oil—from the estate’s farms, distillery, brewery, kitchen garden, and smokehouse.
